Dr. Larry Seitlin has a long-standing history of dental excellence in Charlotte. After earning both his undergraduate and dental degrees from the University of North Carolina, Dr. Seitlin opened Seitlin Dental right here in the heart of Charlotte. More than 50 years later, he’s just as excited to welcome new patients from communities like South End, Dilworth, Sedgefield, and surrounding neighborhoods — providing the highest standard of care for generations of families.

Beyond his commitment to serving the Charlotte community, Dr. Seitlin is also an accomplished sports dentist. He is a proud member of the International Academy of Sports Dentistry and the Association of Professional Team Physicians. Over the years, he’s served as the official team dentist for the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets, the AHL’s Charlotte Checkers, the WNBA’s Charlotte Sting, and the Charlotte Cobras lacrosse team.

His passion for athletics — especially basketball — also led him to join the National Association of Basketball Coaches, where he has been a member for more than 21 years and has coached multiple AAU teams across the region.

Dr. Eric Seitlin is a proud Charlotte native who has been dedicated to caring for his community for more than 20 years. After graduating from South Meck High School, he earned his degree in Mathematical Sciences from UNC-Chapel Hill and went on to complete his dental doctorate at the University of Maryland Dental School.

Dr. Seitlin provides comprehensive care for patients across Charlotte, including those from nearby neighborhoods like South End, Dilworth, Sedgefield, and surrounding communities. He is passionate about addressing a wide spectrum of dental needs — from routine preventive care to advanced restorative and cosmetic treatments. With more than a decade of experience in dental implant placement and nearly 20 years in Invisalign treatment, Dr. Seitlin is committed to delivering healthy, confident smiles through thoughtful, personalized treatment planning. His approach focuses on both function and aesthetics, ensuring that patients leave with teeth that look great, feel comfortable, and function at their best.

Outside the office, Dr. Seitlin enjoys quality time with his wife and three children. A dedicated youth baseball coach, he proudly led his team to a North Carolina state championship. He is also a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, reflecting his discipline, passion, and commitment both inside and outside the practice.

Raised just next door in Weddington, Dr. Vasa has called the Charlotte area home his entire life. He attended the University of North Carolina, where he earned a degree in Nutrition from the Gillings School of Public Health, followed by his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the East Carolina School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Vasa proudly serves patients from across Charlotte — including nearby communities like South End, Dilworth, Sedgefield, and the greater Weddington area. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, and is both implant-trained and Invisalign-certified.

For Dr. Vasa, dentistry is about more than providing clinical care — it's about building long-lasting relationships and creating an environment where patients feel heard, supported, and confident in their smiles. He takes time to understand each patient’s unique needs and goals, tailoring treatment plans that prioritize both aesthetics and long-term oral health. Dedicated to a conservative, nature-mimicking approach, Dr. Vasa focuses on preserving healthy tooth structure while achieving beautiful, functional results.

With a gentle, calm chairside manner, Dr. Vasa ensures patients feel relaxed and comfortable during every visit. He takes pride in educating patients, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care. His commitment to excellence continues outside the practice as well — he is passionate about continuing education and invests countless hours in learning the latest techniques and technologies to better serve his patients.

Outside the office, Dr. Vasa enjoys traveling and staying active. On weekends, you’ll likely find him on the golf course or tennis courts enjoying time outdoors.

Dr. Bhavik Patel received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. After spending more than five years caring for patients in Missouri, Dr. Patel and his wife decided to make Charlotte, North Carolina their new home.

Dr. Patel loves getting to know his patients and helping families feel comfortable and confident about their dental care. He believes that every smile deserves gentle, personalized attention and takes pride in creating a welcoming environment where patients of all ages feel at ease.

When he’s not in the office, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time outdoors—hiking, biking, and exploring new trails around the Carolinas with his wife. His friendly nature and passion for helping others shine through in everything he does, both inside and outside the dental office.

From the moment you arrive at Seitlin Dental, our goal is to make you feel completely at ease. You’ll be greeted by our friendly front desk team, check in, and then relax in our comfortable lounge until it’s time for your appointment.

Your hygienist will bring you to one of our treatment suites, where you can unwind and enjoy views of our calming fish tanks. We’ll start by taking digital X-rays for a complete picture of your oral health. Then, your dentist will join you, review your X-rays, and perform a thorough exam to ensure your smile is healthy and strong.

In most cases, you’ll receive a routine cleaning at this visit. Your hygienist will gently remove plaque and tartar buildup before polishing your teeth for a smooth, bright finish. Afterward, we’ll schedule your next checkup and send you on your way with a fresh, confident smile.
